Carnival Cruise, Part III

Part 3 of 3: from the cruise I went on with my parents in February 2016!! More "boat stuff". Since the cruises aren't that long and the ship is really big, part of the days include exploring around- with Trollie and Suzie. Also in this post you will see some pictures from our formal dinner. I do really like getting dressed up and getting our pictures taken, but I guess not that many people enjoy it since it seemed like there were less people in the dining room that night. The main area with different self-serve food bars (salad, meats, desserts) are open all day and the people who made pizzas non-stop were open until midnight.
^^ I believe this was the really yummy potato soup with chicken and croutons that was the appetizer one night (there were probably 3 or 4 options for each course to choose from). I ordered something adventurous, like duck?, for my entree, but didn't end up liking it and asked if I could just have more of the soup instead, which they brought to me! :)
^^ Movie at night with fresh, hot popcorn! Pretty sure we watched one of the
Mission Impossible movies. Whichever one came out in 2015, I'm sure.
Excited to find out what movies will be playing on our cruise next weekend.
PS- did I mention how I did an awesome job eating healthy and walking a lot to get back down to 105 pounds for the 2016 cruise? Because I did! Hence mirror photos. ;)
 ^^ Chocolate cake bar!!
^^ Harry Potter trivia! We didn't win though. I didn't know a few of the answers including
the name of Voldemort's mother. I only read the books once.
Below you can see us spending time outside while docked, possibly at Freeport Harbour, where I got the bright orange destination tank top that I was wearing here.

Daddy did the rope course twice and my mom and I, along with a bunch of other strangers, cheered on a random boy who was scared to cross one of the areas. I don't blame him!
The last night there was a gathering specifically for people who were Carnival Members. My parents are so I got to go. There were appetizers and the British cruise director who does all the announcements was there so we got to meet him. I don't remember his name anymore, but I want to say I started with a B. They called down the members who had cruised with them many times- maybe the number of cruises they had been on, or how many years they had been members? But my parents joined a bunch of other couples on stage for a slow dance.
My favorite memory (just being very "wowed") would have to be this Motor City song and dance performance. So much energy, cool costumes, great singing and dancing, the colors and lights, the actors popping up near us in the audience, liking all of the 80's songs.
And then, after the show all the singers showed up in the main bar/mall/lobby area, so of course I wanted to get a picture with them because they were so awesome.  So my mom took a couple group photos with me in them. And it seemed like all of the sudden other cruise guests noticed the singers were there, not realizing I was not one of them, but kept taking pictures of us- so I got to be in all of those people's pictures too! Haha. :D
We also went to a dating game show and a comedy show that were entertaining.
Until next time.. AKA 9 days!! ..& February 2022 ..& November 2024!!   :)   :)   :)
