Down to Zero

 

   I got one of my student loans paid off last Tuesday!! It is a wonderful feeling. I love signing into the website and seeing the zero dollar amount for that account. The Great Lakes employee who I spoke with on the phone last week said I should get a congratulatory letter in the mail soon.
   I believe I started off with a total of $13,500 when I graduated in April 2011, began paying them off in September that year and now have them down to $5,400. For some reason the accounts were split into two? My goal is to have it all paid off by the end of the year and for Michael to have $10,000 in savings in December.
