Torn Apart

Last week my friend, Sarah, texted me saying she would be in Gainesville for a few days before Thanksgiving and since I hadn't seen her since the wedding in May 2011, she suggested they drive an extra two hours to see Michael and I! So this afternoon we got some fun visitors: my cousin Abby, her mom, my mom and Sarah. We took them to Bob's Potatoes for lunch then I wanted Abby and Sarah to experience what it was like having Michael do an effect then take some pictures after.
They had fun feeling the 3D transfers on their face/ neck and my mom and Abby's mom had fun watching the process. Abby and Sarah were texting the pictures to their friends, then reading all the responses. Some people kept asking what happened and if they were okay. We took some "nice" photos for fun as well. Sarah has to fly back on Tuesday for work, but I will see Abby again for Thanksgiving.

Weekend Rundown

Phew! What a weekend. Thursday wasn't the best night after I came home and Michael said that we were 100 percent, no doubt about it, definitely moving to Los Angeles (specifically Burbank or Glendale) in January. I cried for a long time that night and ignored him the next morning. But on Friday I did a lot of thinking and walking and praying, all while trying to be positive.
It worked well enough and Michael and I decided to have an anniversary date re-do. I met him at Ripley's at 4:45pm and he gave me a tour. His work area was smaller than I expected, but very interesting. And I got to meet Bruce. We went to dinner at Bahama Breeze and played mini golf afterwards. He won.
On Saturday we went to the Outlet Mall behind our apartment because Michael needs new shoes. However, he left empty handed, but bought me a new pair of black flats for work. & for a late dinner that night: Waffle House. Yesterday we slept in a lot and ran errands to Bed Bath & Beyond and the Florida Mall. Still no new shoes for Michael, but we stopped for a snack at Auntie Anne's. At 7pm, we left to meet some of Michael's friends at a bar for the Zombie Rockabilly Weekend wrap party. We didn't stay long and rented "Tower Heist". These past few days have been a much needed amount of time together. (These pretty photos around Los Angeles were found on Pinterest. No credit to myself.)

I'm on a new schedule now for my final month of training. I'll work from 4pm (or 5pm on 11 hour days) until 4am. So I've been up since noon trying to finish laundry and run errands before going to work.

You Are My Sunshine!

I meant to take photos of these flowers a couple weeks ago, but the following morning, the complex guys had cut the grass and since they are "weed flowers" and not part of the decoration landscaping, they were mowed down. So I got them today! Phew!
Michael is working another night for the zombie shoot. I'm not sure what production day # this is, but thankfully he isn't needed every night, so I have been able to spend a little more time with him than I was expecting. Its not as much as before since I don't get home from work until 10:30pm now due to my Phase 2 training schedule. (Although I complained about having to wake up at 4:30am for the morning shift last month, the time went by a lot faster those days. Hopefully I can get back on that shift & A side! when I'm done with training - around the middle of June.)
Anyway, Michael was kind enough to give me a few minutes of his time to snap these super romantic photos before he left to drive to the shoot. Hopefully it will keep my heart satisfied until he gets home again.
*I totally wore my Jesse and the Rippers shirt while I watched a specific episode of Full House! The one where Becky finds out she is pregnant. She worried Jesse would be upset because they hadn't planned on having kids that soon. I laughed when Joey said, "Too bad you're not an elephant. They stay pregnant for two years! Then you would be right on schedule."
